Challenge: Launching an Operational Excellence Programme
When Bregt Bottelbergs set out to launch an Operational Excellence Programme at Atlas Copco, he knew the message had to be clear, engaging, and actionable. The challenge was twofold: first, to build a compelling framework that explained behaviours and expectations across FTEC; and second, to deliver this message in a way that would resonate with colleagues and drive engagement. Early attempts at presenting the programme showed that the message wasn’t landing as intended, and Bregt realised he needed specialist support.
The Process: ??
Bregt worked with Rob through a series of one-to-one sessions—most delivered virtually, with one in-person session in Antwerp. Together, they refined not just the presentation content but also the way Bregt communicated it.

Key steps included:

  • Redesigning the presentation: Separating a detailed “print” version from a streamlined “presenting” deck.
  • Coaching delivery: Using tone of voice, tempo, movement, and audience interaction to capture attention.
  • Building confidence: Developing a structured flow—intro, key points, conclusion—so that Bregt always knew what came next.

Rob also coached Bregt on preparation, ensuring every session had a clear purpose and a strong call to action for the audience.
  • Slide Design Overhaul
Using Steve’s script, we transformed his slides into a visually compelling, professional deck—integrating high-quality imagery, animations, and seamless branding.
  • Rehearsal & Coaching
Through multiple one-on-one practice sessions, we fine-tuned pacing, storytelling, and stage presence, ensuring Steve delivered with confidence.
  • A Proven Process
By finalizing the slides early, Steve had weeks to practice without distractions—allowing him to focus solely on delivering his best performance.
Results: ??
For Bregt, the transformation was immediate. He moved from reading slides to confidently delivering a message that engaged and involved his audience. He described the biggest shift as learning how to use his voice, body language, and slides as tools rather than crutches. The structured approach reduced stress, improved clarity, and made the presentation far more impactful.

"The most helpful part was understanding the difference between a slide deck you present and one you print. Combined with learning how to use my tone of voice, tempo, and movement, it made a huge difference. I felt more confident, less stressed, and far clearer in my message."
